Tips how to maintain Bathroom Faucets and Kitchen Faucets

QUICK TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

My faucet leaks/drips.		Repair or replace cartridge.

Handle broke off of my single handle kitchen faucet.		Replace handle connector and/or adaptor.

Handle broke off of my single handle lavatory faucet.		Replace pivot retainer.

Water is not coming out of the spout on my kitchen faucet, but is coming out of the side spray.		Check and clean aerator. Replace diverter

My single handle kitchen faucet leaks only when the handle is in certain positions.		Replace pivot retainer or handle adapter kit depending on model.

Water leaks at the base of the spout or spout is difficult to move side to side.		Replace spout o-rings.

My OneTouch/Extensa/Puretouch faucet leaks at the base of the spout receptor.		Check hose & spray head connection, and or 1/4-Turn connector. And/Or replace vacuum breaker.

Water leaks around the handle.		Replace cartridge.

Handle is stiff or hard to pull/lift/rotate.		Replace cartridge.

Water flow is slow or irregular.		Replace aerator.

Handle broke off of two handle Monticello faucet.		Replace adaptor kit.

The handle on my two handle Monticello faucet continues to rotate beyond the shut-off point.		Replace stem extension.
